7236 Henri Boutet (1851–1919) – Harlequin – Lithograph (c. 1895-1900)

This lithograph is from the famous French series Les Maîtres de l'Affiche (The Masters of the Poster). It was issued as a special plate for subscribers. The print depicts a figure in a harlequin costume from the back, a common subject in late 19th-century French art. It is a work created for the series published by Imprimerie Chaix in Paris, France.
