Designated “No. 103”, this plate is part of Charles Blunt’s celebrated The Beauty of the Heavens, a 19th-century visual exploration of sky phenomena.

Charles Blunt was a British science communicator and illustrator whose works made astronomy and meteorology visually accessible to the public. His lithographs merged artistic composition with observational learning, allowing viewers to appreciate cloud types not only for their weather significance but also for their aesthetic impact.
