This original copperplate engraving, titled Anatomy, Part II – Angeiology, presents a detailed study of the human vascular system. The plate features nine labeled figures illustrating arterial and venous structures, including the aorta, hepatic and pulmonary vessels, and full-body diagrams of the circulatory network. The engraver, Isaac Taylor, was active in late 18th- to early 19th-century London and produced anatomical illustrations for medical and educational publications.

The schematic yet expressive rendering of the human vasculature reflects the Enlightenment-era fusion of empirical science and classical engraving technique. Vessels are shown as intricate tree-like forms, particularly around the lungs and liver, capturing both anatomical function and naturalistic symmetry.

This plate would have been part of a larger anatomical series aimed at medical students, physicians, or scientifically curious collectors of the period.
