Johann Christoph Weigel (1654–1725) was a German engraver, publisher, and bookseller based in Nuremberg. He collaborated with the historian Johann David Köhler to produce richly illustrated atlases for educational and travel purposes. Weigel's works are admired for their clarity, decorative cartouches, and accessible geographical knowledge, playing a crucial role in early 18th-century cartographic publishing.
