This antique copperplate map presents detailed views of Spain and Portugal, along with an inset map depicting the mouth of the River Tagus and the harbour of Lisbon. The map originates from the renowned publication Gentleman's Magazine and Historical Chronicle, edited by Sylvanus Urban, Gentleman.
Printed in London by D. Henry & R. Cave at St. John's Gate, this map represents the cartographic knowledge and maritime importance of the Iberian Peninsula in the mid-18th century.
