1 Ambroise Tardieu – Map of the Montreuil Military Camp / Plan du Camp de Montreuil – Engraving (1819)

This military map depicts the fortified encampment of Montreuil near the French coast, including topographic details such as dunes, roads, artillery positions, and coastline. It was engraved after a drawing by engineer Lécrivain during Marshal Ney’s command.
Ambroise Tardieu (1788–1841) was a prominent French cartographer, geographer, and engraver.
