A Plan of the East End of the Island of Quibo. This rare maritime chart presents the eastern portion of Quibo Island, located in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Panama. The map includes detailed coastal features such as Salt Lagoons, Port de Dames, freshwater sources, and Fishermens Hutts, alongside neighboring islands like Quiveta and Canales. Nautical elements include depth soundings, a compass rose, and a scale of leagues, indicating its use in navigation. This engraving was issued in London in 1748, likely in connection with contemporary British naval exploration.
