This finely executed copper engraving presents detailed profile sections of classical cornice moldings and decorative panels, featuring a sequence of acanthus leaves, egg-and-dart, rosettes, and bead motifs. The lower part of the plate displays a richly decorated pilaster or frame element with sculpted foliage, rendered in delicate linework and subtle hand-coloring. The plate belongs to Giocondo Albertolli’s neoclassical design corpus, which was intended for use in elite architectural interiors throughout Italy during the late 18th century.
