Ulrik Thersner (1779–1828) was a Swedish military officer, surveyor, and topographical artist. He began his career during Gustav III’s Russian War and later joined the Surveying Corps, where he conducted cartographic and hydrographic studies across Sweden. Thersner’s legacy lies in his ability to blend scientific precision with artistic representation, preserving the historical and cultural landscape of Sweden through his engravings.
