Description
Exhibition Poster for Höganäs Museum 1990 by Bert-Johnny Nilsson.
Bert Jonnie Nilsson (February 18, 1934 – May 6, 2004) was a Swedish graphic artist and illustrator, born in Kristianstad, Kristianstad County, and passing away in Åhus parish, Skåne County. He gained international recognition for his early paintings featuring erotic-surrealist motifs, characterized by mutilated and blood-dripping, pale, beautiful female bodies, creating a mood of horror theater. His later works depicted cosmic images envisioning a future threatened by catastrophe for the Earth. Nilsson's art can be found in collections at the Moderna Museet in Stockholm, Malmö Museum, Västerås Art Museum, Norrköping Art Museum, and Ystad Art Museum.
