Carl Gustav Jablonsky (1756–1787) was a Prussian naturalist, scientific illustrator, and private secretary to Queen Elisabeth Christine. Though best known for his entomological work, his broader contribution to natural science illustration reflects a strong commitment to Linnaean taxonomy, artistic clarity, and empirical observation.
