120 Jacques de Sève (active 1742–1788) – Le Daim (The Fallow Deer) – Copperplate Engraving by Charles Baquoy from Histoire Naturelle by Buffon (Late 18th Century)

This finely executed copperplate engraving titled Le Daim (The Fallow Deer) is part of Georges-Louis Leclerc, Comte de Buffon’s encyclopedic Histoire Naturelle, Générale et Particulière.
