This west-oriented map shows Ceylon (Sri-Lanka) in the upper left corner. North is on the right side of the map and this shows some of the East Coast of India. Burma, Thailand and the west coast of Malaysia. In the lower left is part of Sumatra. Historical sailing vessels and islands are among the windroses in the bay.

The tap has some brown spots along outer margin. Small repaired tears on centerfold in upper and lower margins. Minor creases.
