Leopold III, also known as Saint Leopold, was the Margrave of Austria from 1095 until his death on November 15, 1136. Born in 1073, he was renowned for his piety and significant contributions to the church, including founding several monasteries, such as Klosterneuburg. His effective leadership and devotion to the Christian faith earned him canonization. Saint Leopold is celebrated as the patron saint of Austria, reflecting his enduring legacy in the region.
