Lithography after Jean-Paul Riopelle originates from Derrière le Miroir, published in Paris by Galerie Maeght in 1974.

Derrière le Miroir is a French art magazine created in 1946 and published until 1982.

Jean-Paul Riopelle (1923-2002) was a Canadian painter and sculptor known for his association with the abstract expressionist movement. Born in Montreal, he was a member of the influential group of artists known as Les Automatistes, who practiced a form of spontaneous, automatic drawing and painting. Riopelle's work is characterized by its dynamic use of color and texture, often achieved through thickly applied paint and a palette knife technique. His art is celebrated in major international collections, including the National Gallery of Canada and the Musée National d'Art Moderne in Paris.
