This beautiful set of eight antique botanical chromolithographs comes from Carl Lindman’s celebrated work Bilder ur Nordens Flora, published in Stockholm by Wahlström & Widstrand in 1905. Each print in the series depicts a detailed study of Nordic flora, including the following species: False Flax (Camelina sativa Crantz), Field Pennycress (Thlaspi arvense L.), Shepherd's Purse (Capsella bursa-pastoris), Sea Kale (Crambe maritima L.), Scurvy Grass (Cochlearia L.), Tree Mustard (Lepidium ruderale L.), and additional plates featuring variations of Camelina sativa and Capsella.

Lindman’s scientific precision and artistic clarity offer a comprehensive visual reference to plant morphology, reflecting the botanical knowledge and aesthetic standards of early 20th-century Nordic science. His work played a crucial role in documenting regional species and advancing botanical illustration in Sweden.
