This original lithograph by Joan Miró was published as part of Derrière le Miroir, the legendary art revue produced by Maeght Éditeur in Paris. The composition exemplifies Miró’s iconic abstract visual language—free-floating forms, dynamic black linework, and spontaneous marks that evoke both cosmic and calligraphic energy. Printed on velin d'Arches paper, this lithograph was issued unsigned as part of the regular edition.

Joan Miró (1893–1983) was a Catalan painter, sculptor, and printmaker whose work bridged Surrealism, abstraction, and modernist lyricism. A long-time collaborator with Maeght, Miró contributed dozens of original lithographs to Derrière le Miroir, making the series one of the most celebrated achievements in postwar print publishing.
