Jean René Bazaine (1904–2001) was a French painter, writer, and designer of stained glass. His work was deeply influenced by poetry and the natural world, often blending spiritual motifs with gestural color fields. He worked closely with Henri Matisse, Georges Braque, and Georges Rouault, and designed numerous stained-glass windows for French churches.
