4501 Giocondo Albertolli – Architectural Engraving – Decorative Cornice and Ceiling Panels – Engraving (1770)

Giocondo Albertolli (1742–1839) was a Swiss-born architect and ornamentalist active in Milan, where he became a professor at the Brera Academy. A leading figure of Italian neoclassicism, he published widely influential model books that shaped interior decoration across Europe. His designs were characterized by clarity, mathematical harmony, and classical elegance.
