139 Carl Axel Magnus Lindman (1856–1928) – Set of 6 Botanical Prints – Aconitum, Centaurea, Allium, Jasione, Mulgedium, Campanula – Chromolithographs (c.1901–1905)

This set of six exquisite botanical prints is taken from Carl Lindman’s monumental work Bilder ur Nordens Flora ("Pictures of the Flora of the North"), published in Sweden between 1901 and 1905. Each plate presents a scientifically accurate and finely rendered chromolithograph of Nordic plant species, accompanied by botanical dissections and Swedish/Latin names.
Carl Lindman was a Swedish botanist and illustrator whose work combined scientific precision with artistic delicacy. His flora plates remain among the most celebrated examples of Nordic botanical illustration.
