These chromolithographs originate from ”Skånska Folkdräkter” (Scanian Folk Costumes) by Otto Henrik Wallgren. The work was published by Arvid Kurck in Stockholm, 1872.

Otto Henrik Wallgren (1795-1857) was a Swedish historical painter, printmaker, and vice professor at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts. Known for his meticulous detail and expertise in lithography, he portrayed biblical scenes, historical figures, and Swedish rural life in his artwork. Wallgren's contributions to Swedish art included extensive illustrations for historical texts and portraits of notable figures, reflecting his skill in both composition and costume detail.
