Bruno Andreas Liljefors (born May 14, 1860, in Uppsala; died December 18, 1939, in Stockholm) was a Swedish painter, graphic artist, and sculptor. He is best known for his nature and animal motifs, often depicting dramatic scenes, especially of birds. His impressionistic brushwork and unique style have made him a leading figure in bird painting and one of Sweden's most renowned nature artists.
