This 18th-century portrait shows a young man with soft facial features, wearing a distinctive curled cap and simple buttoned tunic. Executed in watercolour and ink, the work is signed "Bolletti" and demonstrates a delicate approach to light, expression, and costume. The subtle tonal shading and confident linework reflect the stylistic tendencies of Italian draftsmanship during the period.
