The composition features a central urban map with inset illustrations, including architectural landmarks, coastal scenes, and an inset overview map of the Stockholm archipelago.
Johann Friedrich Meyer (1813–1887) was a 19th-century lithographer active in Sweden, known for his meticulous cartographic and artistic lithographs, often in collaboration with engravers and publishers. Frederik Henrik Dethleff (1816–1863) was a skilled engraver who contributed significantly to Swedish topographical and architectural imagery during the mid-1800s. Together, they produced visual documents that captured both the geographic precision and the atmospheric presence of their subjects.
