Large antique engraving originates from Cornelis II Bloemaert after a design attributed to Salvius Castell Aretin. It was was published in Italy between 1630 and 1684.

Cornelis II Bloemaert (c. 1603–1692) was a Dutch engraver, widely recognized for his refined and intricate line work. Born in Utrecht, he was part of the famous Bloemaert family of artists and studied under his father, Abraham Bloemaert. Later, he moved to Italy, where he developed his distinctive style and collaborated with leading artists of the Baroque period. His works are notable for their precise technique and the delicate rendering of form and light.
