This architectural engraving depicts the front elevation of the Antwerp City Hall (Stadhuis van Antwerpen), a Renaissance building completed in the 16th century. The façade is richly ornamented, with a prominent central tower and balanced wings on both sides. Heraldic emblems flank the structure: the coat of arms of Flanders to the left and that of Antwerp to the right. The print is plate XX from the first volume of Les Délices des Pays-Bas by Jean Baptiste Christyn, first published in Brussels in 1697.

Jacobus Harrewijn was a Flemish engraver active in the Southern Netherlands during the late 17th and early 18th centuries. He produced numerous topographical and architectural engravings, working for publishers in both Brussels and Antwerp. His style combines precision with decorative clarity. This engraving is not listed in the Hollstein catalogue.
